About Knowtopia

Built with classrooms in mind, refined week by week with real learners.

Knowtopia was created by a veteran Eikaiwa teacher with over 25 years of classroom experience in Japan. It was designed for elementary school–age learners, especially those studying English as a foreign language (EFL) in Eikaiwa schools.

The series grew out of a practical reality: many children receive less than one hour of English per week. Knowtopia is built for that limited weekly exposure — and it is also a direct response to the traditional materials and curricula used in most Eikaiwa classrooms.

Traditional approaches can limit students’ ability to develop even basic English ability. Knowtopia gives children a different set of goals: building sentence skills, understanding how English works, and gaining the confidence to use language flexibly.

Every component—workbooks, storybooks, app, appendix, and index—removes friction so learners can operate independently and keep progressing between limited class meetings.

Created by an Eikaiwa teacher with 25+ years of classroom experience in Japan — designed for limited weekly exposure and long-term progression.
