Account Deletion (アカウント削除) & Data Removal (データ削除)

You can delete your Knowtopia account from inside the app or using the web form below. This page exists to meet Google Play’s web deletion requirement and to provide transparency for all users.

Delete in the App (推奨 / In-App)

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Read the confirmation explaining what is deleted and what is retained, then confirm.
  4. You’ll be signed out; we’ll email you (if applicable) when deletion completes.

Apple requires apps that allow account creation to let users initiate deletion in-app.

Delete on the Web (Google Play 要件 / Web Resource)

If you can’t access the app, request deletion here. We’ll verify the request and start the deletion process.

If the button opens your email app, send the pre-filled email from your registered address for verification.

What Is Deleted (削除されるデータ)

  • Account & profile (UID, display name, email)
  • Progress & activity tied to your UID
  • App-side identifiers used for your account/session

What May Be Retained (法令等により一定期間保持)

  • Server/security logs (rotating)
  • Payment/transaction records required by tax or accounting laws
  • Aggregated/anonymous analytics that cannot identify you

Timeframe (処理期間)

We typically process deletion within 24–72 hours. Legal/financial records are decoupled and retained only as required by law. Backups expire on their normal cycle.

Verification & Abuse Protection（本人確認・不正防止）

To prevent unauthorized deletion, we require an authenticated in-app request or an email sent from the registered address. We may request additional verification for school-managed accounts.
